The Miles City Photography Club began as a group of individuals that shared a common interest: PHOTOGRAPHY. Members' photography interests are varied and include nature, black & white, macro, portrait, wedding, wildlife, etc. Members' expertise range from beginner to professional. Some members are just beginning their photographic adventure; others have participated in art shows featuring their works, area fairs, and offer their photographic services to their communities.
Members enjoy sharing their work, improving their skills and increasing their photographic knowledge. Cameras used run the gamut - simple point-and-shoots, smartphones, DSLR's, and so on.
The Miles City Photography Club was formed at Miles City, Montana, when the membership formally adopted the club's Constitution and Bylaws on April 25, 2016. Regular membership meetings are held the last Monday of each month, excluding Memorial Day in May and in December, 6:30 PM, at Miles City Church of Christ building, 215 North Winchester. During the meetings members attend to the Club's business, share photos entered into the monthly theme contests and from the field trips, learn from guest speakers and each other, and plan upcoming club activities. In addition to the monthly meetings, members meet for group field trips and for 2019, have a 52-week Photography Challenge for the monthly photo theme contests (Be sure to visit our "Winning Photos" page), and other fun activities.
Club members are not required to live in Miles City proper; members live throughout the Eastern Montana region. Please visit our "Join Now!" page for details on membership levels and annual dues.
